Church Administrators are So Boring

boringBoring is right! Church Administrators and Church Business Managers are the most boring people I have ever met. They attend Tax Seminars and week long conferences with classes all day and night. They are the ones that come in early and leave late and sit at the computer all day long. They sit around thinking up reasons to create a new form to bore everyone with at the office. Forms for this and forms for that!

They get excited when after crunching numbers all day and it all balances at the end of the day! How boring is that? They spend hours knocking down endless “to do” lists and then start new ones! They join groups and clubs and go to meetings every day! They love compiling reports and gathering endless data to look for trends in everything. They use spreadsheets to track everything under the sun.

They take tons of papers and printouts and reports and calendars and pens and pencils and agendas to every meeting they attend. They go from one project to the next with no break in between and take forever with finishing projects until they are so detailed and tweaked to the max!

Here is the million dollar question of the day. What in the world do they really do for fun?

Are you a Church Business Administrator or Church Business Manager?  If so, I would like to hear from you and put this article to shame. Tell me what you do for fun and prove me wrong!
