It could not be a better time to get your personal finances in order than right now. Credit card rates skyrocketed in 2009, lending institutions became tougher to borrow from, and unemployment is at an all time high. Now is the time to become money smart and have a plan in place, and working it. It was through these web sites that I found INGDIRECT, an on line bank with some great features. My brick and mortar bank was charging fees all over the place and their savings paid me .015 %. Whoopee! INGDIRECT pays me 1.25% and has no fees for anything at all. That’s a huge difference!
So here are the sites I use to help me work my plan of getting out of debt completely and using cash for everything we buy. Sounds weird! I am weird, about money; I want to keep mine and have control over where it goes and what it does for me.
#5 . www.frugaldad.com – a great site for families with lots of good articles on personal finance
