This is part 2 of my series on making the church office fun and light! I live and work in Texas and in the summer time it can get very hot outside. Most summers where i live stay around the 100 degree mark and that can make tempers and attitudes on the edge at work. People are frustrated with high energy bills, high water bills, and just having to deal with the heat all day is bad enough.
I did not create or think this one up. The Education Minister at my last church took it upon himself to pull this one off. He told me i was having to much fun with these fun events and he wanted to be a part of it himself. He did a great job and surprised me when he came by my office with this idea.
Ice Cream Sandwich Toss – this one allows you to go all around the office tossing each person a nice break especially on a hot Texas day! It says to the person they are valued and thought of during the day. Buy a case of ice cream sandwiches and go by each office and toss it at them! Take a few seconds to ask how they are doing and say thanks for all they do! Keep it going all around the office and if they have someone else in their office at the time toss them one too! Make it fun! Stir it up!
